Sri Chakra Yagam - 05.04.2006 to 10.07.2006 
It is as per rituals that a Sri Chakra Yanthra has to be placed in the sanctum of sanctuary of the Temple for Sri Mahalakshmi. The Golden Temple for Sri Mahalakshmi in Sripuram of Thirumalaikdodi is uner construction. The Sri Chakra Yagam was conducted in Ghosala for 105 days starting from 55th April 2006 to 10th July 2006. The daily Yagam was conducted by 15 Sivacharias between 07.00 a.m. to 02.00 p.m. One silk saree, one gold coin and 108 kinds of articles of offer were used in Yagam fire. Devetees in large gatherings attended the Yagam offering the Yagam articles daily by taking chances in turn. There was Vedaparayanam on every day evening.  
On 10th July, being the final day of the Sri Chakra Yagam, the Sivacharias have conducted Sri Chakra Abishekam. Kalasa Pooja Abishekam was conducted to Sri Sakthi Amma. The entrance of the Gho sala was decorated with fragrant flowers and archanas have been offered. Amidst the chanting of Lalitha Sahasranamam and Vedaparayanam theSri Chakra Yagam was solemnly blessed by the Divine hands of Sri Sakthi Amma.
