AROGYA – JULY 2006Of the many welfare Schemes of Sri Narayani Siddar Peedam, Arogya is one. On 09.07.2006, at 10.00 a.m. our beloved Sakthi Amma has generously presented the following welfare measures to the needy. Taken up the responsibility of paying for the open heart surgeries to be conducted on 42 poor patients. Hearing aids were given for 6 hearing impaired persons. Artificial limbs were supplied to 4 disabled people. 32 tricycles were distributed for polio affected people. Mr.Venkatapthy, the Union Minister for Law and Justice presided over the function. Amma provoked the hearts of the audience by the sensational speech. AMMA SPEAKS We can divide the multitude of life beings of the world into two categories. One is to live and the other is to achieve. The beings to live are birds, animals and small creatures including the ones who live under water. When we look up which will be the being to achieve, its only mankind. Except human beings all other beings are living only for their specie and their living. They do not have a feeling to achieve anything. The feeling of achieving something is only destined to human beings. It is the greatest strength, blessing and present. Other life beings have not achieved anything because they think only about food and security. Every being has eyes and ears. But only man can see something good and hear some thing good and bring forth good things. Every life being has legs. The other life beings use them only for getting food. But mankind can use them to go to good places. Every life being has hands. Only man can use them to do good for others. Only man can achieve some thing. So many people have achieved several things. But it needs love. Only with love one can have an intention to do good to others. The deeds we do without expecting rewards will pave the way for achievements. So, though there are many life beings, human life is created to make achievements. The feeling or aim to achieve something necessarily demands love in the soul. Love manifests in so many ways. If we entertain people whom we love it is spontaneously created. If we develop devotion with God, love is created. Love is created if we read good books and listen to the advice of good people. So, if a man wants to achieve something, he has to be in good path and endeavour to know healthy informations. Then only we may consider that the human life is for achieving. Other wise, this human life is also for just living and going away. So, in order to achieve we must know a lot of good things through which we can do good to others. The reason for telling that human beings are achievers is that man can achieve anything. The fact that anything can be done by man is the exclusive evidence that human beings are quite different from any other life beings. For example, the elephant has lots of energy and power. But it can seldom do good to other beings. Not so much. But if a man thinks to do good to others, certainly he can do that. That is why the Woman Poet Avvaiyar has said that it is rare to be born as human beings and more so without any deformity. The human body receives its whole purpose only when it does something good to others. For that purpose, no deformity should be a hindrance. That is why we started a scheme called Arogya. Only if a child is affected with deformity it can realize the difficulty of being disabled. So they can feel and get the welfare schemes of the government and let others benefit. The aim of this scheme that because they are disabled they should not be refused the goodness of life. Benefits from this scheme flow twice in a year like financial aid for open heart surgery for poor children. As you have benefited from the scheme, you should also extend your helping hand to others alike when you come up in life. That is the only reason for which we have started this scheme. Because you know how difficult and pathetic it is to be without money. In the same way the God whom you worship has blessed you, you should also help others like you as instrument of God.. With this I bless that all the life beings on all the worlds be happy, peaceful and live with harmony. |
