There is an association between human behavior and the sounds that surround us.

That is why upon hearing certain sounds, we spontaneously breakout into laughter, weeping or dancing.  In this respect, the sounds that induce in us physical health, peace of mind, and Divine presence are called Mantras. Listening to, as well as chanting these Mantras can purify the surroundings, as well as the chanter and the listeners.
